The holidays are in full swing down here in sunny South Florida, and we are loving it! Finishing our new Pineapple Pad vacation rental was definitely our biggest gift this year, and we are overjoyed to start welcoming guests to stay here. We recently stopped by our cute island bungalow to add a few special touches for the holidays, and today we are sharing some of our holiday decorating tips for Society Social’s “Holiday Spotlight Series!”

Our first holiday decorating tip is to invest in a fabulous sofa to entertain guests on for hours. For the Pineapple Pad, we chose this adorable Pink Charlotte Sofa by Society Social, and it’s one of our favorite pieces in the space. Roxy and the gals helped us bring our dream pink sofa to life by allowing us to fully customize this piece. We used our own Sunbrella fabric, added a skirt along the bottom and chose the color of the piping along the edges!

Our next decorating tip for the holiday season is to spruce up consoles and credenzas with fresh and faux greenery. Adding faux boxwood garland to Society Social’s gorgeous Seagrass Credenza in the living room of the Pineapple Pad is the perfect touch to feel festive and bring the space to life. We love the neutral color of this piece, but we are also swooning over the many colorful options that their Dunmore Cane Credenza comes in, too!

Our last holiday decorating tip is to start a collection of pieces that you love. A few years ago, Beth started a Nutcracker collection that she will one day pass on to her daughter. Nutcrackers are fun to set on any tabletop, and Beth especially loves ones that she finds in blush, cream or gold. In just a few years, her collection has grown quite a bit, and we also love collecting ornaments, holiday photographs, and our kids’ artwork to name a few!

To hear our favorite way to decorate a space and see who our 3 favorite designers are, be sure to hop over to Society Social to see us featured in their “Holiday Spotlight Series!”
