Last weekend, the weather was especially beautiful so we headed to the beach just before sunset to soak it in. We have said it many times before, but these winter beach days are one of the reasons we love living here so much. We grew up in the area so we don’t know how to winter any other way, and we love to inspire others to come experience it, too!
On this day we had fun reminiscing about Letarte Luxe, one of the first brands we worked with when we started our blog six years ago. We stopped by the store to pick out these resort looks and were filled in on exciting news that is coming soon. Most of all, we can’t wait to meet their new CEO and Creative Director, Alison McFerran!
Alison has worked in the fashion industry for 25 years as Head of Merchandising for brands like Lilly Pulitzer, C. Wonder, Banana Republic and Stella and Dot. Her entrepreneurial spirit is passionate about launching new products, and she is looking forward to relaunching the Letarte lifestyle brand by blending her east coast roots with a west coast lifestyle through swimwear, tunics, branded accessories, jewelry and more. When she’s not working, she loves being a mom to her three kids and golden retriever puppy, walking along the beach and shopping along the coast between endless soccer and lacrosse events for her children who are avid athletes!
We are also looking forward to a special in-store event Letarte is hosting in their Worth Avenue boutique this Wednesday, February 21st from 5 to 7 pm. It’s part of Modern Luxury Magazine and the Worth Avenue Association’s Fork to Fashion event, and they will be featuring Jane Winchester’s new jewelry collection. You can meet both Alison and Jane <they were colleagues at Lilly Pulitzer and love supporting each other!>, toast with cocktails and take home a complimentary charm necklace while supplies last!
