Home: Pink or Mint Guest Room

Rattan and mint guest room

Beth has been updating a few of the rooms in her home before the baby arrives. You can see her updated playroom/office here and she will be sharing the nursery and completed guest room next month. With all the blush pink she is thinking about switching up the guest room with some minty blue hues.

How to style a nightstand

The guest room is a tight space, so there is not much room for more than the Serena & Lily Balboa Bed and nightstands with accessories. She’s deciding between mint with wicker lamp shade or pink lamps and minty blue or blush pink border frame bedding. For the mint theme, she loves these botanical prints from Etsy in West Elm Brass Frames with a mint and white stripe cabana valance. For the blush pink theme, she is leaning toward thin brass mirrors <this mirror is only $60!> behind the lamps on the nightstand with a pink and white stripe cabana valance from Pottery Barn Teen <on sale for $22 a curtain!>.  The accessories for both would be our favorites like the Lindroth Design wicker hurricane, raffia basket tray, wicker frame and shells. Beth’s favorite new book is The Stylish Life: Tennis and Minty blue binded books we are loving are: The Decorated Home, Beautiful, Library House, and Etsy has fun bundled books by color.
