Harbour Island is famous for their Pink Sands Beach and we were very excited to see it for ourselves. When we landed, we dropped off our bags and headed straight to the beach. Trust us when we say, this beach will blow you away! The color of the sand is a faint blush and the powder is unlike anything you’ll find anywhere else! The water has many beautiful turquoise shades that blend together and you can see your reflection in the sand by the shore. Pink Sands Beach was hands down our very favorite part of Harbour Island!

Another cool thing about the beach is that you can ride horses on it! We grew up in Wellington, FL <aka horse country>, so riding horses on the beach was something we haaaddd to do. We even brought our little ones and had so much fun walking them around on the horses, too! If you are heading to Harbour Island and want to book this experience, look for Marty with the cowboy hat. He has a post for the horses between Pink Sands and Coral Sands resorts and can be spotted all over the island, too.

On this day, we wore our favorite linen dresses from ISLAND COMPANY. Their laid back styles and lightweight fabrics for women and men are perfect for sunny destinations. We usually shop at their store on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach and couldn’t wait to check out their new location on Harbour Island. You can’t miss their bright white building with blue shutters, and they are the first store you’ll see when you arrive on the island from the Government Dock!
