More than 75 Palm Beachers came out to buccan's sister restaurant, imoto, last week for the launch of the "Palm Beach Lately" Cocktail. The crowd loved the modern Palm Beach twist on the classic mimosa made of champagne, fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and a splash of fresh cherry syrup. Guests also enjoyed the mix by DJ Rey and cookies and cupcakes by The Sugar Monkey. Couldn't make the party? Visit buccan or imoto any time to try the perfect summer cocktail and stop by Pioneer Linens to purchase the official Palm Beach Lately cocktail napkins!

Weekender: Getaway To John's Island Club In Vero Beach
Over the weekend Beth and I enjoyed a sisters' getaway to one of our favorite local destinations, John's Island Club, in Vero Beach. This posh coastal town is a quick drive from Palm Beach and caters to vacationers who love the beach, upscale boutiques, outdoor activities, fresh food, tropical cocktails and a mix of old and new Florida. If you visit Vero, we recommend playing sunset scrabble, reading oceanside, walking on the beach, relaxing by the pool, passing The Islander Inn, admiring William Bainbridge Steele's shop, eating at The Lemon Tree Restaurant, sipping Palm Beach Lately cocktails, shopping at Sassy Boutique, lunching at John's Island Club, treating yourself to Cravings and checking out Costa d'Este.
