Weekender: 'Cocktail Culture' at the Norton Museum of Art

This weekend Beth and I have plans to view the Cocktail Culture exhibition at the Norton Museum of Art and enjoy our own modern day happy hour.  Featuring more than 150 objects from the 1920s to the present, Cocktail Culture “explores the social rituals of the cocktail hour through the lens of fashion and design”.  The chronological collection features objects from museums, archives and private lenders, fashionable cocktail attire by famous designers like Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino and accessories by Elsa Schiaparelli, Tiffany and Van Cleef & Arpel.  The exhibition is open through April 15th.
